"Raw and remote wilderness as far away as you can get from the tourist masses and be one with nature. Exceptional wildlife and photography experiences."
Choosing your bucket list adventure in Africa is no easy task, with so many different options of adventures it can become daunting to say the least. We have decided to suggest a select few each month that we think you would like focusing away from tourist masses.
Africa is rich in wildlife and heritage experiences, with time constraints and budget we often find ourselves at a loss to make the most out of our safari adventure. Having lived in Tanzania for many years founder Justine feels that getting away from it all should be more about spending time in the destination and making the most out of wildlife, conservation and culture. Conservation and wildlife experiences are a great way to immerse yourself right into seeing the everyday way of African life.
Our pick for this month is Chada Katavi in Western Tanzania with the solar eclipse happening in September 2016 this is a prime location to experience a little adventure. Let us know, would you go there?
Chada Katavi – Katavi National Park
A small intimate camp in the heart of Katavi National Park, this remote wilderness covers wide flood plains that come alive during the dry season. Teaming wildlife surround remaining waterholes as pods of hippos pack themselves into the shallow mud pools. Elephant and buffalo watch from the sidelines as lion and hyena camouflage themselves in the high grass waiting for their next unsuspecting meal.
Far away from the tourist circuit of northern Tanzania Katavi offers a very different feeling, one of untouched wilderness and being in one with nature.
