Londolozi – South Africa

Located on the Sand River in the heart of the Sabi Sands Game reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park. Londolozi is famous for its commitment to luxurious accommodation, fine dining and service that is exquisite! You will be taken care of and made to feel like you are the only people in the lodge. While maintaining a high standard of global ecotourism, this family run business will show you all the beauty that Africa can hold with an abundance of wildlife at your doorstep and personal touches so that you don’t need to worry about a thing.

Honeymooners are treated to a private luxurious safari land rover with a couples couch for private game drives, these are usually combined with picnic dinners for 2 and champagne sundowners at sunset.  If you would rather stay in, there is a double bathtub under the stars or a heated personal swimming pool, both with divine views over the grasslands where elephants could just wander by.  Feel like being a bit active? They can help with that too with bush yoga retreat, a wilderness spa and meditative walks. There is no doubt that Londolozi is definitive luxury.

One & Only Nyungwe House – Rwanda

As the new kid on the block in Rwanda One and Only’s new Nyungwe house is hard to beat! Combining a gorilla trek with this lodge and you will be in for an unforgettable experience, that you will be talking about for the rest of your lives.  Nestled in the foothills of the forest covered mountains are small clusters of rustic style retreats with a front row seat to the sights and sounds of pure nature.  Nyungwe House is set amongst the tea plantations of Gisakura on the edge of the iconic Nyungwe National Park. The lush and diverse habitat is home to over 13 different species of primate and 20% of all apes in Africa. Ehlane Plains Camp – Tanzania

On the far eastern plains of the Serengeti National Park is the remote wildlife-filled pocket of the savannah and home to Ehlane Plains Camp. This area is unique, unspoilt, silent, remote and truly exciting.  A true African experience as you have access to an abundance of wildlife surrounding this amazing and luxurious camp.

Elewana Kilindi – Zanzibar

If you want the perfect beach honeymoon then Elewana Kilindi – Zanzibar is the answer. Set in 50 Acres of lush tropical gardens on one of the most perfect beaches in the world. Each Pavilion Suite has wide arched glassless window giving you spectacular views over the Indian Ocean. Islands of Siankaba – Zambia

The Islands of Siankaba is a luxury lodge located on 2 private islands in the middle of the beautiful Zambezi River. Ol Donyo Lodge – Kenya

The lodge sits in the thick woodland of the Chyulus with views over the plains to Mount Kilimanjaro. This all inclusive lodge will give you a view of Africa like no other. Ngaga Camp – Republic of Congo

For those that want a truly remarkable and memorable experience you can’t go past Ngaga Camp in the Ndzehi Forest  on the western boundary of Odzala-Kokoua National Park, North-west of the Republic of Congo. Now before you see the words CONGO and automatically write it off remember there are 2 countries with the word Congo in the title. This congo is extremely safe and the capital city Brazzaville has recently been named one of the safest African city in the 2017 World economic forum and Forbes recently included it in the 10 new coolest cities to visit, mainly because of its safety.

One of the best things about this camp is being completely surrounded by thick beautiful rainforest. This forest is untouched and with only a few lodges in existence in the area there is an abundance of wildlife. The Western Lowland gorilla is tracked on foot directly from the camp, as you walk you may encounter one of the other 9 different species of primate in the area including the crowned and Moustached monkeys or the central Chimpanzees. An experience with the Gorillas really will be something special and a moment you won’t forget for the rest of your lives together.

In this area there are so many species that are unique to the Republic of Congo with both flora and fauna and you will love getting to explore this gorgeous rainforest during both day and night to discover it all!
